\textit{E. Kirchberg} and \textit{S. Wassermann} constructed in [J. Funct. Anal. 155, No. 2, 324--351 (1998; Zbl 0940.46038)] an operator system \(X\) which is separable, nuclear, and such that the canonical unital \(*\)-homomorphism \(\sigma_X\) from the maximal \(C^*\)-algebra of \(X\) to the \(C^*\)-envelope of \(X\) is injective. In the paper under review, the author proves that this operator system is unique and is completely order isomorphic to the operator system associated to the non-commutative Poulsen simplex.
