The paper studies open ultrafilters (maximal centered systems of open sets) on topological spaces which are not necessarily assumed to be \(T_2\). More generally, \(\pi\)-systems are considered, that is, families closed under finite intersections; \(\pi\)-systems, as a generalization of topologies, are also required in the paper to possess a ``zero'' and a ``one''. Appropriate sets of open ultrafilters are considered as ``enlarged points'' related to points of the original space; the problem of distinguishability of these enlarged points leads to unconventional separation axioms. The connections of such new axioms with classical separation axioms such as \(T_0\), \(T_1\) and \(T_2\) are analyzed.
