Let \((M,g)\) be a closed manifold of dimension four or five, \(k\) be a non-zero natural number, \(2^*\) be the usual critical Sobolev exponent, \(\Delta_g\) be the classic Laplace-Beltrami operator on \(M\), and \(\varepsilon>0\). The authors show that the equation \((*):\;\Delta_gu_{k,\varepsilon}+\varepsilon u_{k,\varepsilon}=u_{k,\varepsilon}^{2^*-1}\) in \(M\) has a family of positive solutions blowing up with \(k\) peaks at the point \(\xi_0\), a non-degenerate minimum point of the scalar curvature \(S_g\) such that \(S_g(\xi_0)<0\) as \(\varepsilon\) is close to zero. The proof is essentially based on using the Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction method consisting to look for critical points of a family of \((F_\varepsilon)_{\varepsilon>0}\) energy functions, corresponding to \((*)\), defined on a \(5k+1\) (or \((6k+1)\))-dimensional space, and \(F_0\), the limit function, has a saddle point.
