    The authors consider the following system of exponents \((e^{i(nt+\lambda_n(t))} )_{n\in \mathbb Z},\) where \(\lambda_n(t)= -{\text{sgn}} \, n (\alpha t + \beta \, {\text{sgn}}\, t)\), \(t \in [-\pi, \pi]\), \(\alpha, \beta \in \mathbb C\). They study basicity, completeness, and minimality of this system in the Lebesgue spaces \(L_{p_t}\) of functions with variable summability exponent \(p(t)\).
