The paper under review considers T-spaces in free associative algebras. Let \(k\) be a field and let \(k_0(X)\) and \(k_1(X)\) denote, respectively, the free associative algebras without and with unity, freely generated by the infinite set of variables \(X\). A vector subspace of any one of these two algebras is a T-space if it is closed under endomorphisms (or, equivalently, under substitutions of the variables by arbitrary elements of the free algebra). Let \(k\) be of positive characteristic \(p\), and denote by \(G_0\), respectively by \(G\), the Grassmann algebra of infinite dimension over \(k\), without, and with unity. The main result of the paper states that the T-spaces of the central polynomials for \(G_0\) as well as for \(G\) are not finitely generated as T-spaces. It should be noted that both results, about \(G_0\) and about \(G\), are contained in the paper by \textit{A. P. Brandão, jun.}, et al., [Isr. J. Math. 179, 127-144 (2010; Zbl 1207.16021)]. In that paper it was proved even more: namely that the corresponding T-spaces are limit ones. In other words they do not admit finite generating systems but every larger T-space admits a finite generating set. On the other hand, if one considers finite dimensional Grassmann algebras the corresponding T-spaces are finitely generated, [see \textit{A. Krasilnikov, É. Alves da Silva} and the reviewer, Algebra Discrete Math. 2009, No. 3, 69-76 (2009; Zbl 1192.16019)].
