The author shows that if \(\Omega\) belongs to a certain class of convex \(C^2\) domains in a \((n+1)\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold, the difference between the \(k\)-th Steklov eigenvalue \(\sigma_k\) on \(\Omega\) and the square root of the \(k\)-th Laplace eigenvalue \(\lambda_k\) on the boundary \(\partial\Omega\) can be bounded (from above and below) by a constant which depends explicitly only on the dimension and the geometry of the domain, namely \[ |\sigma_k-\sqrt{\lambda_k}|\leq C_{\Omega} \] As a consequence, for the class of domains considered, Weyl-type upper bounds exist for Steklov eigenvalues: \[ \sigma_k\leq C'_{\Omega}+C_n\left(\frac{k}{|\partial\Omega|}\right)^{\frac{1}{n}}, \] where \(C'_{\Omega}\) is some other constant which depends only on the geometry of \(\Omega\), and \(C_n\) depends only on the dimension. The results and the corresponding proofs are the analogous in the Riemannian setting of those contained in [\textit{L. Provenzano} and \textit{J. Stubbe}, ``Weyl-type bounds for Steklov eigenvalues'', to appear in J. Spectr. Theory] for general \(C^2\) domains of the Euclidean space.
