The authors are concerned with admissible trajectories x(\(\cdot)\) of infinite-dimensional linear systems, defined on an interval \([0,t_ 1]\) and such that \(\| x(0)-x(t_ 1)\|\) is small. They say that an admissible trajectory x(\(\cdot)\) is self-accessible on \([0,t_ 1]\) if \(x(0)=x(t_ 1)\). They show that self-accessible trajectories of the system \(\dot x=Ax(t)+Bu(t)\) satisfy \(\max_{0\leq t\leq t_ 1}\| x(t)- x(0)\| \geq r\) where r is the distance of x(0) to the subspace \(A^{- 1}(Im(B))\). Moreover, they introduce the concept of approximately self- accessible states and they generalize earlier results.
