An integral ring extension \(A\subset B\) with Spec(A)\(\simeq Spec(B)\) is called subintegral if \(A_ p/pA_ p\simeq B_ P/PB_ P\) for all prime ideals \(p\subset P\). The author studies the behavior of certain K- theoretical functors. Among others FA\(\to FB\) is an epimorphism for \(F=Pic\), \(K_ 0\), \(NPic,NK_ 0\) and \(SK_ 1\). Furthermore, \(Ker(K_ 0A\to K_ 0B)=Ker(Pic(A)\to Pic(B))\). - Pic(A)\(\simeq Pic(B)\), if A/m is formal real for each maximal ideal m. If A is noetherian and B finite over A, then \(K_ i(mod-A)\simeq K_ i(mod-B)\), \(i=0,1\); if A and B are one- dimensional, then \(SK_ 1(A)\simeq SK_ 1(B)\).
