Summary: We introduce a class of real analytic ``peaky'' potentials for which the corresponding quasiperiodic 1D-Schrödinger operators exhibit, for quasiperiodic frequencies in a set of positive Lebesgue measure, both absolutely continuous and pure point spectrum.
