The classical Tannaka-Krein duality builds a nice connection between an algebraic group (or other kinds of groups) and its representation category, which is a tensor category naturally. Deligne has shown that every symmetric (i.e. the braiding is symmetric) tensor category is equivalent to the representation category of a super group scheme \(G\). Usually, it is not easy to determine this group \(G\). The paper under reviewed considered the following special case: the symmetric tensor category is generated by an object satisfying its symmetric or alternating tensor square is simple up to a trivial summands, and the main result of this paper was to provide a criterion to identify the corresponding group \(G\) (see Theorem 1.1 of this paper). This is an interesting result. As an application, the authors gave a short proof of a Weissauer's result about Brill-Noether sheaves.
