The author provides an elementary proof of the following result: Let \(A(x)\) be a real-analytic function on a connected open domain \(U\) of \({\mathbb R}^d\). If \(A\) is not identically zero, then its zero set \(\{x \in U : A(x)=0\}\) has measure zero.
