Two adaptive Gauss-Legendre type algorithms for the verified computation of definite integrals (Q1921293): Difference between revisions

The authors propose two numerical methods with result verification for sharp enclosures of definite integrals. The methods are based on Gauss-Legendre quadrature formulae and use automatic differentiation and interval computer arithmetic for the bounding of the error term.
