Theorem 3.9 is the main result of the paper: the extension of the frame lifting idea in terms of quaternions and multivariate frames. Section 4.1 is devoted to discrete wavelets. Here, to summarize the results of this subsection, the authors formulate the frame lifting Theorem 3.9 for the discrete wavelet case; see Theorem 4.3.
