The authors study a chemotaxis model on the real line with the logarithmic sensitivity function and the logistic reaction term. After a transformation, this Keller-Segel-Fischer type system becomes a hyperbolic-parabolic system of balance laws. Main results concern decay rates to the space homogeneous solution.
