Summary: We previously proved a number of fixed point theorems for some kinds of contractions like \(b_n\)-contraction and \(\varphi - H\) contraction in fuzzy metric spaces. In this paper, we discuss the problem of existence of fixed point for \((\psi, \varphi, \epsilon, \lambda)\)-contraction in fuzzy metric spaces in sense of [\textit{A. George} and \textit{P. Veeramani}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 64, No. 3, 395--399 (1994; Zbl 0843.54014)].
