    The paper under review is devoted to study the extension problem to find for a given sequence \(\{a_ j\}_{-m\leq j\leq m}\), \(a_{-j}=\bar a_ j\) of complex numbers, a positive function \(f(z)= \sum^ \infty_{j=- \infty} b_ j z^ j\) on the circle \(\{z: | z|=1\}\) such that \(a_ j= b_ j\), \(-m\leq j\leq m\). The authors consider this extension problem for different classes of functions.
