The Robin boundary problem to the Stokes equations is considered in \linebreak \(\Omega\subset \mathbb R^n,\;n\geq 2\) \[ \begin{aligned} &\lambda v-\text{div}\,T(v,p)=f,\quad \text{div}\,v=g \quad \text{in}\quad \Omega,\\ &v\cdot\nu=0,\quad \alpha v +\beta[T(v,p)\nu-(T(v,p)\nu\cdot\nu)\nu]=h \quad \text{on}\quad \partial\Omega, \end{aligned} \] where \(v\) is the velocity of a fluid, \(p\) is the pressure, \(T(v,p)\) is the stress tensor, \(f,g,h\) are given functions, \(\alpha,\beta\) are constants such that \(\beta>0, \alpha\geq 0\), \(\alpha+\beta=1\), \(\nu\) is the unit outward normal to \(\partial\Omega\), \(\lambda\) is the complex parameter. Existence, uniqueness and estimates of the solution are established in Sobolev spaces for the cases when \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain and \(\Omega\) is an exterior domain.
