For the one-dimensional harmonic oscillator \(H_0=\frac{1}{2} (-\frac{d^2}{dx^2} + x^2)\), consider the Hamiltonian of \(H_0\) perturbed by two identical attractive point interactions: \[ H_{ \{ \lambda,x_0 \}} = H_0 - \lambda[\delta(x + x_0) + \delta (x - x_0)] \] with \(\lambda, x_0 \geq 0\). Through an explicit representation of the resolvent, the behavior of \(H_{ \{ \lambda,x_0 \}}\) in terms of the strength of the point interactions and their location is described, additionally a transcendental equation for the eigenvalues is given, and an analysis of the three lowest eigenvalues as functions of the separation distance between each point intersection centre and the origin is provided.
