The authors generalise the formula for the variance of the spectrum numbers (which become the exponents, when shifted by one) of quasi-homogeneous hypersurface singularities given by \textit{C. Hertling} [Frobenius manifolds and moduli spaces for singularities. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2002; Zbl 1023.14018)] to the case of non-degenerate weighted homogeneous polynomials with an action of a diagonal subgroup \(G\) of \(\mathrm{SL}_n(\mathbb C)\). The result is formulated as \(\text{Var}_{(f,G)}={1\over12} \hat c \cdot \mu_{(f,G)}\), inspired by a similar formula for compact Calabi-Yau manifolds, the connection being given by mirror symmetry.
