Given a rational surface by a triple of rational functions in \(t_1,t_2\), the implizitization problem asks for an implizit equation for the surface. In this paper, the problem is solved by an algorithm which uses only univariate resultants. The algorithm is short and can easily be programmed in any system which provides univariate resultants and polynomial arithmetic. Several examples show that the method is competitive.
