In the paper, a three--dimensional object point process is introduced that can model complex spatial structures like curved filaments, surfaces and clusters. This point process, called Bisous model, consists of spatial patterns that are random collections of interacting simple objects such as segments, polygons or polyhedra. For simulations, an annealing algorithm is proposed and the convergence of the algorithm is proved. Finally, many numerical examples are discussed.
