The authors study the following partial differential equations near \(x = 0\): \[ t\partial_t u = A(x)xt + bu + x(x + c(t))\partial_x u,\quad u(0,x)\equiv 0,\quad (t,x)\in {\mathbb C}^2 \] or \[ t\partial_t u = A(x)xt + bu + x^2(x + c(t))\partial_x u,\quad u(0,x)\equiv 0,\quad (t,x)\in {\mathbb C}^2, \] where \(A\) and \(c\) are holomorphic functions near \(x = 0\) and \(t = 0\), respectively, and where \(b\) is a complex number, \(b\not\in {\mathbb N}\), and \(c(0) = 0\). They prove that the unique formal solution of each of these equations is Borel summable in all, but countable many, directions.
