Verf. zeigt in dieser Arbeit, daß man bei der Bestimmung der Korrelation von Zeitreihen mit den gewöhnlichen statistischen Methoden nicht ohne Gefahr arbeiten darf. An einigen theoretischen Ableitungen und praktischen Beispielen wird auf die möglichen Schwierigkeiten hingewiesen und dargelegt, daß bei der Anwendung der üblichen Methoden immer größte Vorsicht geboten ist.
