    Let \(\mathcal F(\lambda,\mathcal K)\) stand for the class of maps \(f:\mathbb B^n\to\mathbb R^n\) of finite distortion satisfying \(f(0)=0\), \(\int_{\mathbb B^n}J_ f\) \(dx\leq\alpha_n\) where \(\alpha_n\) is the Lebesgue measure of the unit all \(\mathbb B^n\) and \[ \int_{\mathbb B^n}\exp(\lambda\mathcal K_f)\, dx\leq\mathcal K_f. \] The main result is the following: Theorem. Let \(n\geq 2\), \(\lambda,\mathcal K_f>0\). There exists a constant \(\alpha=\alpha(n,\lambda)>0\) such that \[ \sup_{\mathcal F}(\lambda,\mathcal K)\int_{\mathbb B^n}\exp(\alpha|\overline f(\xi)|)\, d\backslash d\xi<\infty, \] where \(\overline f\) is the boundary extension of \(f\). This result extends earlier work of \textit{P. Poggi-Corradini} and \textit{K. Rajala} [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 76, No. 2, 531--544 (2007; Zbl 1135.30014)] which concerns the special case when the maps are quasiregular.
