X is a nonempty set, Y is a nonempty compact topological space, f: \(X\times Y\to {\mathbb{R}}\) and, \(\forall x\in X\), f(x,\(\cdot)\) is lower semicontinuous on Y. Suppose that, \(\forall \epsilon >0\), \(\exists \delta >0\) such \(that\) \(\forall y_ 1,y_ 2\in Y\), \(\exists y_ 3\in Y\) such that, (\(\forall x\in X\), \(f(x,y_ 3)\leq f(x,y_ 1)\vee\) \(f(x,y_ 2))\) and \((| f(x,y_ 1)-f(x,y_ 2)| \geq \epsilon\Rightarrow\) \(f(x,y_ 3)\leq\) \(f(x,y_ 1)\vee\) \(f(x,y_ 2)-\delta)\) and \(\forall x_ 1,x_ 2\in X\), \(\exists X_ 3\in X\) such that (\(\forall y\in Y\), \(f(x_ 3,y)\geq f(x_ 1,y)\wedge f(x_ 2,y))\) and \[ (| f(x_ 1,y)-f(x_ 2,y)| \geq \epsilon \quad \Rightarrow \quad f(x_ 3,y)\geq f(x_ 1,y)\wedge f(x_ 2,y)+\delta). \] Then \(\min_{Y}\sup_{X}f=\sup_{X}\min_{Y}f\).
