The \(t\)-Koszul algebra was first introduced by \textit{R. Berger} [in J. Algebra 239, No. 2, 705-734 (2001; Zbl 1035.16023)] as a generalization of Koszul algebras. The authors introduce the category of \(t\)-fold modules which is a full subcategory of graded modules over a graded algebra. They show that this subcategory and hence the subcategory of \(t\)-Koszul modules are both closed under direct sums, direct summands, extensions and cokernels of monomorphisms. They also give counter-examples to note that such categories are not necessarily closed under kernels of epimorphisms. The authors also study \(t\)-Koszul algebras via the one-point extension method. They obtain a sufficient and necessary condition for one-point extension algebras to be \(t\)-Koszul, which is the main result of the paper. In the last section, Cheng and Ye study the relations between the \(t\)-Koszul modules of an algebra and its one-point extensions. They also consider the conditions such that the category of quadratic modules (\(2\)-fold modules and algebras are just the quadratic ones defined by \textit{E. L. Green, E. Marcos, P. Zhang} [Commun. Algebra 31, No. 6, 2745-2770 (2003; Zbl 1062.16004)]) coincides with the category of \(t\)-Koszul modules.
