The authors propose a family of unlimited and second-order accurate in space finite volume schemes for hyperbolic systems of conservation laws. They are designed in such a way that a dissipative property is required for the second-order discretization in space. A non standard global entropy inequality under a CFL condition is proved. The proof requires the strict convexity of the entropy. Some numerical tests are presented to illustrate the accuracy and stability of the proposed schemes.
