The authors of the present paper continue the very interesting investigation of straight spaces, the notion of which has been introduced in a previous paper written by them. They prove that the completion of a straight space is straight. More generally, they characterize the dense straight subspaces of a straight space. In order to better understand the class of straight spaces, two further classes of spaces related to the connectivity properties of the space are introduced. The two new classes of spaces, namely the weakly uniformly locally connected spaces and the approximately locally connected spaces, lay in between straight and uniformly locally connected spaces. The authors also give various important examples to distinguish all these notions, while one of these properties coincides with straightness in the presence of completeness. Thus a useful characterization of complete straight spaces in terms of the behavior of the quasicomponents of the space is offered.
