Graphs with prescribed Levi form trace (Q2465924): Difference between revisions

The authors prove the existence and uniqueness of a Lipschitz continuous viscosity solution of the Dirichet problem related to the prescribed Levi mean curvature equation. The main tool to prove the existence and uniqueness is a comparison principle between semicontinuous sub and supersolutions of the problem, which permits to get the result through the Perron's methods due to Ishii. Moreover the Lipschitz continuity is obtained by an approximation method and the techniques of the barriers.
