Let \(X\) be a closed hyperbolic surface (eventually with geodesic boundary) and \(c\) a disjoint union of simple closed geodesics on \(X\). The author etablishes an optimal upper bound for the injectivity radius of \(c\) (in the orientable case, the maximal half-width of a \(c\)-collar), in terms of the Euler-Poincaré characteristic of \(X\) and of the length of \(c\). Techniques of division line or of cutting by the birectangular method are used. The collars are interesting for the spectrum of the Laplacian or for the Bers constant.
