The author consider the stationary Navier-Stokes equations \((\nabla u)u = \nu u -\nabla p\), \(\text{div}\;u=0\) in a Lipschitz domain \(\Omega\) of \(\mathbb R^n\) (\(n \geq 2\)) with the boundary condition \(u =a\) on \(\partial \Omega\), where \(\Omega\) consists of the mutually disjoint surfaces \(\Omega_i\) (\(i=1,2,\dots,m\)). He establishes the existence of the solution to the boundary value problem under the following condition \[ \widehat{\Phi}:=\sum_{i=1}^m |\Phi_i|(\max_{\Omega}U_i - \min_{\Omega}U_i)<\nu, \] where \(\Phi_i=\int_{\partial \Omega_i} a \cdot n\, d\sigma\), \(U_i=U(x-x_i)\) is the fundamental solution of the Laplace equation, \(x_i\) is a fixed point interior to \(\partial \Omega_i\) (\(x_i)\) not belonging to \(\Omega\). Other restrictions on \(\Phi_i\) are also considered. It is showed that if \(\Omega\) is bounded, there exists \(\varepsilon >0\), depending only on the Lipschitz character of \(\Omega\), such that if \(a \in W^{1-1/q,q}(\Omega)\) with \(2 \leq q <3+\varepsilon\), then the problem admits at least one \(q\)--weak solution. Moreover, if \(a \in W^{1,2}(\Omega)\), then \(u \in W^{3/2,2}(\Omega)\) and \(p \in W^{1/2,2}(\Omega)\). The case \(a \in L^q(\Omega)\) is also discussed. The obtained results are based on the systematic investigation of the stationary linear Stokes equations.
