The authors introduce the concepts of BL-algebra of multipliers, BL-algebra of fractions and maximal BL-algebra of quotients for a BL-algebra, so extending the analogous notions for an MV-algebra given in their previous paper [J. Mult.-Val. Log. Soft Comput. 10, No.~4, 363--383 (2004; Zbl 1069.06006)]. The authors prove the existence of the maximal BL-algebra of quotients for a BL-algebra and give a precise description of this algebra for some classes of BL-algebras.
