This paper studies positive solutions for the singularly perturbed nonlinear elliptic problem on the sphere \(\mathbb{S}^n\): \[ \epsilon^2 \Delta_{\mathbb{S}^n}u-u +u^p=0, \] where \(\Delta_{\mathbb{S}^n}\) is the Laplace-Beltrami operator and \(p\geq 2\). It is first proved that there exists a smooth branch of solutions depending on \(\lambda=\frac{1}{\epsilon^2}\), for \(\lambda>\lambda_0\), which is rotationally symmetric with respect to a pole of the sphere, and concentrates on the corresponding equator when \(\lambda\rightarrow \infty\). Then it is proved that there are infinitely many points on this branch from which continua of nonradial solutions bifurcate.
