The paper studies Carleson measures on a general class of analytic function spaces. The space \(F(p,q,s)\) is defined for \(0<p<\infty\), \(-2<q<\infty\), \(0\leq s<\infty\) as the space of analytic functions on the unit disc \(D\) on the complex plane, such that \[ \|f\|_{F(p,q,s)}^p = \sup_{a \in D} \int_D |f'(z)|^p(1-|z|^2)^q(1-|\varphi_a(z)|^2)^s\,dA(z)<\infty. \] This class of function spaces includes analytic Besov spaces, weighted Bergman and Dirichlet spaces and \(\alpha\)-Bloch spaces. The main result of the paper gives a characterisation of the boundedness of the embedding from the space \(F(p,p\alpha-2,s)\) into the tent space on the disc \(T^\infty_{p,s}(\mu)\) in terms of \((p,s)\)-logarithmic Carleson measures. A characterisation of the compactness of the embedding in terms of vanishing Carleson measures is also given. Here, a \((p,s)\)-logarithmic Carleson measure is defined as a non-negative Borel measure \(\mu\) on \(D\) such that \[ \sup_{I \subset \partial D} \frac{1}{|I|^s} \left(\log \frac{2}{|I|}\right)^p \mu(S(I)) < \infty, \] where \(S(I)\) denotes the Carleson box of \(I\). The results are then applied to characterise the boundedness of Riemann-Stieltjes integral operators and pointwise multiplication operators on \(F(p,q,s)\). Earlier results for special cases of \(F(p,q,s)\) include [\textit{J. Xiao}, Adv. Math. 217, No. 5, 2075--2088 (2008; Zbl 1142.30021)] and [the first author and \textit{J. Á. Peláez}, Math. Z. 261, No. 3, 545--555 (2009; Zbl 1170.30016)].
