The author derives a reinforcement of an inequality due to \textit{H. J. Brascamp} and \textit{E. H. Lieb} [J. Funct. Anal. 22, 366--389 (1976; Zbl 0334.26009)] and a reinforcement of the Poincaré inequality for general logarithmical concave measures over \(\mathbb R^d.\) The formula used in the proof is related to theorems concerning the integration of log-concave functions (such as results of \textit{A. Prékopa} [Acta Sci. Math. 34, 335--343 (1973; Zbl 0264.90038)] and of \textit{K. Ball, F. Barthe} and \textit{A. Naor} [Duke Math. J. 119, No. 1, 41--63 (2003; Zbl 1036.94003)]). A lower bound for the variance of the same family of measures is also obtained.
