This paper discusses the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for the semilinear evolution equation \[ u'(t)+Au(t)=f(t,u(t)),\;t\in [0,a], \] in an ordered Banach space \(E\) with nonlocal conditions \[ u(0)=\sum_{k=1}^p c_k u(t_k)+u_0. \] Under some monotonicity conditions and noncompactness measure conditions on the nonlinearity, a new monotone iterative method is established. In particular, an existence result without using noncompactness measure condition is obtained in ordered and weakly sequentially complete Banach spaces, which is very convenient for application. An example to illustrate the main results is also given.
