The authors prove a stability result for the inverse resonance problem for the Schrödinger equation \(-y''+qy=\lambda y\) on \([0,\infty)\) with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The potentials \(q\) are allowed to be complex-valued, are compactly supported and belong to a ball of fixed radius in \(L^{1}\). The authors assume that \(q\) and \(\tilde q\) are two such potentials, \(q-\tilde q\) is in a ball of fixed radius in \(L^{p}\) for some \(p>1\) and that their eigenvalues and resonances in a ball of radius \(R\) are \(\varepsilon\) closed. They prove an estimate for \(q-\tilde q\) in terms of \(R\) and \(\varepsilon\) which tends to \(0\) as \(R \rightarrow \infty\) and \(\varepsilon \rightarrow 0\). As a corollary, a uniqueness result for the inverse resonance problem is obtained.
