This is the second of a sequel of two papers on factorization in weakly coupled quantum mechanical statistical systems. In the first paper \textit{K. Yuasa, S. Tasaki, P. Facchi, G. Kimura, H. Nakazato, I. Ohba} and \textit{S. Pascazio} [Ann. Phys. 322, 631--656 (2007; Zbl 1112.82007)], the general theorem is given. In this paper the hypotheses of the general theorem are examined in terms of two exactly solvable models, in which an oscillator is coupled to a bosonic reservoir.
