The convergence-divergence properties of the Berrut rational interpolant [\textit{J. P. Berrut}, Comput. Math. Appl. 15, No. 1, 1--16 (1988; Zbl 0646.65006)] were studied in the case of equidistant nodes [\textit{G. Mastroianni} and \textit{J. Szabados}, ``Barycentric interpolation at equidistant nodes'', Jaen J. Approx. 9, 25--36 (2017)]. In this paper the author shows that results obtained in [loc. cit.] for the equidistant nodes hold more generally for the class of well-spaced nodes, with the restriction that the end points of the definition interval are nodes.
