Let \(K\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) be a convex compact central symmetric body with \(C^2\) boundary \(\partial K\). Its affine surface measure is given by \(d\mu:=x^{1/n+1}d \sigma\) where \(x\) is the Gaussian curvature of \(\partial K\) and \(\partial\sigma\) is its Hausdorff surface measure. The affine restriction conjecture asserts that for some \(C>0\) and every \(f\in L_r(\mathbb{R}^n)\) its Fourier transform \(\widehat f\) satisfies \[ \|\widehat f\|_{L_\rho(d\mu)}\leq C\|f\|_{L_r(\mathbb{R}^n)}; \] have \(1<r< \frac{2u}{n+1}\) and \((n+1)/r+(n-1)/s=n+1\). In particular, for \(n=3\) this is assumed to be true for \((r,s)=(4/3,1)\), \((4/3,2)\) and \((4/3,4/3)\). The conjecture has been proved by \textit{P. Sjölin} [Stud. Math. 51, 169--182 (1974; Zbl 0291.42003)] and is open for \(n\geq \rho\). Then several authors following the \textit{D. M. Oberlin} breakthrough paper [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 132, No. 4, 1195--1199 (2004; Zbl 1054.42005)] proved the conjecture for \(n=3\), \(f=4/3\), \(\rho=2\) and \(\partial K\) of the form \(x\mapsto (x,\gamma(\|x\|))\), \(x\in\mathbb{R}^3\) where \(\gamma:[0,1)\to\mathbb{R}\) satisfies appropriate smoothness and growth conditions. The author proves further results of this kind concerning \(n=3\) and \((v,s)\) distinguished above.
