The authors develop a finite volume method for solving the Navier-Stokes equations on a triangular mesh. Further, they prove that the unique solutions of the finite volume method converge to exact solutions for velocity and pressure with optimal order in discrete \(H^{1}\) and \(L^{2}\) norms, respectively.
