An extension of a theorem of Kurosh and applications to Fuchsian groups (Q1061857): Difference between revisions

Using CW-complexes, the author proves a generalisation of the Kurosh subgroup theorem and deduces a version for Fuchsian groups. He then gives proofs of Millington's results on subgroups of the classical modular group.
