There are considered the approximation properties of the set of functions \[ \text{span }\langle 1,x,\dots,x^{n-2},u(x),v(x)\rangle \] where the functions \(u,v\) fulfill the suitable assumptions. The studied properties are the approximation power, the existence of a normalized \(B\)-basis. The special spaces are considered.
