The authors define and investigate a family of covariant diffusions on Lorentzian manifolds in which the quadratic variation is locally determined by the curvature. They show that this allows an interpretation of the diffusion effect on a particle by its interaction with the ambient space-time. Particular emphasis is placed on warped products and the Robertson-Walker manifolds with the asymptotic behavior for Einstein-de Sitter like manifolds. Contents include: Introduction; Canonical vector fields and curvature; Covariant \(\Xi\)-relativistic diffusions; Warped products; Examples of Robertson-Walker manifolds; Sectional relativistic diffusion; and References (nineteen items).
