The authors study the linear spaces of B-series of Hamiltonian and energy-preserving vector fields and of B-series of vector fields which are conjugate to such fields. The main emphasis is on the algebraic properties of these spaces like their dimensions, bases and annihilators and on the relations between the various spaces.
