    This paper establishes some asymptotic properties in relationship with two functionals arising in the Ginzburg-Landau theory. The first functional describes the distribution of superconductivity in a type-II superconductor subjected to a constant magnetic field. The second functional describes the distribution of superconductivity in a type-II superconductor submitted to a variable magnetic field that vanishes non-degenerately along a smooth curve. The proofs combine energy estimates with related analytic tools.
