In the present paper, the authors investigate Putnam-Fuglede properties (shortened to PF-properties) for operators acting on Hilbert spaces. They prove that \(A\in B(\mathcal{H})\) satisfies \(\mathrm{PF}(\delta)\) if and only if it satisfies \(\mathrm{PF}(\Delta)\). The essential result used in the proof of the equivalence is Theorem 1 of \textit{R. G. Douglas} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 17, 413--415 (1966; Zbl 0146.12503)]. Among other results, they give necessary and sufficient conditions for \(A\in\mathrm{PF}(\delta)\) without a supplementary condition given by \textit{P. Pagacz} [Opusc. Math. 33, No. 3, 565--574 (2013; Zbl 1315.47025)]. They point out that a number of Hilbert space operators, amongst them hyponormal, \(p\)-hyponormal, dominant and \(k\ast\)-paranormal operators, satisfy the PF-property.
