The authors describe relations between complete weight enumerators in genus \(n\) of Type II codes over \(\mathbb{Z}_{2m}\) and Jacobi forms of genus \(n\), thus generalizing earlier work on the case \(n=1\). They derive a homomorphism between the rings of polynomials invariant under some group \(G_{2m,n}\) (or \(H_{2m,n}\), respectively) and the ring of Jacobi forms (or of Siegel modular forms, respectively). The MacWilliams identities imply that the complete weight enumerators in genus \(n\) of Type II codes over \(\mathbb{Z}_{2m}\) belong to the invariant space of the group \(G_{2m,n}\).
