Motivated by the work of \textit{V. A. Gauhman} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 2, 1117--1121 (1961); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 140, 15--18 (1961; Zbl 0124.37303)], the author deals with the conformal Lie algebra that corresponds to the Lie pseudogroup of all conformal transformations on the plane. This Lie algebra \(g\) is canonically represented as the Lie algebra of Vector fields in \(\mathbb R^2\). The author finds all possible representations of \(g\) via vector fields in \(J^{0}\mathbb R^{2} = \mathbb R^3 (x, y, u)\) which project to the canonical representation. The author uses the Lie Tresse theorem to find their algebra of scalar differential invariants. The paper concludes with a section on applications which provide a large family of solutions to any differential equation from the collection of PDEs \(\varepsilon \) with Sym \((\varepsilon) \supseteq g\).
