The authors consider embeddings of regular unit tetrahedra into infinitely long right triangular prisms \(\Delta(t) \times \mathbb{R}\), where \(\Delta(t)\) is an equilateral triangle of edge length \(t\). Motivated by previous work of \textit{I. Bárány, H. Maehara} and \textit{N. Tokushige} [Comput. Geom. 45, No. 1--2, 14--20 (2012; Zbl 1242.52003)] and others on similar embedding questions, the authors use geometric and combinatorial techniques to give a complete classification of the rigid-motion-equivalent embeddings for the case under consideration. The results include a classification of all equivalence classes of embeddings based on the parameter \(t\) that represents the cross-sectional edge length of the ambient prism.
